Frankie Hughes, the three-star guard out of Garfield Heights, Ohio who signed with Louisville on Nov. 11, has "mutually agreed" to part ways with U of L and re-open his recruitment.

The 6'4 scoring guard was a late arrival on Louisville's recruiting radar, but quickly fell in love with U of L. He wound up choosing the Cards over Wisconsin, St. Joseph's and VCU. Hughes, who attends the same high school as former Cardinal Terry Rozier, is advertised as a talented outside scorer who will become a versatile offensive threat once he adds a bit of muscle to his frame.
Louisville will add McDonald's All-American V.J. King and Penn graduate transfer Tony Hicks, but there's no immediate word as far as what, if anything, they'll do with Hughes' scholarship. Obviously, there are more questions than answers about this right now. Hopefully we can change that over the next few weeks.
