Game Sim's bracket was looking solid until Sunday, but things didn't go Game Sim's way. Game Sim's champion, title game, and 3 of the final 4 teams are still alive though. Of course, it would be nice to start all over and see what Game Sim is predicting from here on out.
Using GameSim+, I simulated the remainder of the tournament with 10 simulations per matchup. Here are the results:
Midwest
- Kentucky over West Virginia 60-58
- Notre Dame over Wichita State 65-58
- Kentucky over Notre Dame 63-62
West
- Wisconsin over UNC 67-56
- Xavier over Arizona 64-60
- Wisconsin over Xavier 66-55
South
- Duke over Utah 68-57
- Gonzaga over UCLA 66-60
- Duke over Gonzaga 70-64
East (This bracket is a virtual toss-up, but here is the simulation I ran)
- NC State over Louisville 62-61
- Michigan State over Oklahoma 62-60
- NC State over Oklahoma 64-63
Final Four
- Wisconsin over Kentucky 58-55
- Duke over NC State 63-62
- Wisconson over Duke 62-59
So, Game Sim's champion and title game remain the same while NC State makes a magical run to the Final Four. Keep an eye on the East bracket as Game Sim is predicting a high probability of close games this weekend.
