Another day, another pledge.
For the second time in less than 24 hours, the Louisville football program has received a commitment from a coveted defensive back.
Thursday night it was Miami’s Chandler Jones. Friday, it’s Telly Plummer out of Fairburn, Ga.

It came down to Louisville and Notre Dame for Plummer, who also had offers from Penn State, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Pitt, among others.
"I actually committed to Louisville when I was up there on a visit last weekend," Plummer told Rivals.com. "I like the facilities, I have a great connection with the coaches and me and my parents really like it up there."
Plummer also explained why he chose U of L over suiting up for the Fighting Irish.
"Heading into the visit to Louisville, I was full of Notre Dame and really thinking I was going there, but my mind changed up there. I knew I liked Louisville a lot, but seeing what they are building, getting that time with coach Ward and coach Galloway and having that feeling on campus changed things.”
As a junior in 2016, Plummer totaled 42 tackles, 10 pass breakups and two tackles for loss in 12 games. He only recently turned 17, making him very young for a high school senior.
