Georgia Tech's Travis Jorgenson will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL. Jorgenson suffered the injury in Georgia Tech's loss to Dayton on Wednesday night.
"This is unfortunate for Travis and a loss for us," said Gregory. "He had put in a lot of work and was poised to have a very good freshman year. But we know he's going to get the best treatment and rehab possible, and with his work ethic, he'll make a full recovery and be back on the court next year."
Jorgenson averaged 4.3 points per game and just over 2 assists per game this season. Jorgenson should be able to take a medical redshirt and have foul years of eligibility remaining. Without Jorgenson, the Yellow Jackets will rely on Solomon Poole and Trae Golden at the point guard position.
