41 - 27 Texas A&M vs. North Carolina: The Tar Heels fell short in their bowl game, falling 41-27 to the Aggies in the Orange Bowl. Texas A&M outgained North Carolina 204 to 99 and outscored UNC 24-7 in the fourth quarter. Quarterback Sam Howell completed 18 of 31 passes for 234 yards and three touchdowns. UNC wide receiver Josh Downs caught four passes for 91 yards and two touchdowns. For Texas A&M, Kellen Mond completed 16 of 26 for 232 yards and ran for 50 yards and a touchdown. Running back Devon Achane came in during the game for an injured Isaiah Spiller and ran for 140 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries. Achane was named the MVP of the 2021 Capital One Orange Bowl.
