Syracuse.com reports that the trip to campus starts tonight.
We’ve put a lot of focus on Syracuse Orange football recruiting lately, but there’s still plenty going on with Jim Boeheim and the Orange men’s basketball program as they look to bring in a larger 2019 class.
One of the big targets on the list has been in-state prospect Joe Girard III, who it ends up is on campus for his official visit this weekend — according to a report from Syracuse.com’s Mike Waters.
Girard, from Glens Falls, N.Y. is already the career scoring leader in state history and recently included the Orange in his top six, along with BC, Duke, Michigan, Notre Dame and Penn State. Obviously we could use a sharpshooter like that on the roster, given our lack of one at current.
