Louisville gets a boost at a position of need.
The Louisville Cardinals football team landed their second commitment of the week, this time reaching in to the junior college ranks to grab the verbal pledge of Greg Bell.

Bell is a 6-foot, 200-pound running back who currently plays at Arizona Western College. He is the nation’s No. 3 junior-college running back, per 247 Sports composite rankings. His offer list isn’t very long, but he does hold offers from Utah, Boise State, Arizona State, and Arizona. He took two official visits last month before deciding to become a Cardinal. His first was to Louisville on July 18th, and followed that up a week later with an official visit to Boise State.
The commitment of Bell is a big boost to a position of need. After losing Brandon Radcliff following the end of last year, the Cardinals are turning to some more unproven options for this upcoming year in Reggie Bonnafon, Jeremy Smith, and Malik Williams. However, all three of those guys are seniors, and will be gone next year.
Welcome to the Cards, Greg!
