56 - 53 Despite playing for a team ranked No. 11 in the country heading into the final weekend of the regular season, Damion Lee and Trey Lewis will never know what it's like to see their team's name pop up on Selection Sunday or play in the NCAA Tournament. That remains the most cruel reality in a 2015-16 season that has been full of them.
In an attempt to ease that discomfort, Rick Pitino presented both players with a special ring after the team's 56-53 win over Georgia Tech on Senior Night.

Additionally, both players were informed that they have been invited to participate in the NABC College All-Star Game at NRG Stadium in Houston, the home of the 2016 Final Four.
A terrific gesture and something I'm sure both players will always keep with them, but man, it still doesn't feel like enough.
