The Louisville football team will return from its bye week hiatus Friday night against Duke in a game the Cardinals are currently favored to win by a whopping 32 points. The opening spread was U of L -28.
Louisville has been favored in all five of its games this season, losing only on Oct. 1 as a very slight road favorite against unbeaten Clemson.
Duke enters this week with a 3-3 record after last Saturday's 13-6 win over Army. The Blue Devils are 0-2 in the ACC this season, having already been dealt home losses by Wake Forest (24-14) and Virginia (34-20). This will be the third road game of the season for David Cutcliffe's team, which lost at Northwestern 24-13 in week three, but followed that with a 38-35 triumph over Notre Dame in South Bend the next week.
Louisville and Duke have met just once before, with the Cards throttling the Blue Devils 40-3 in 2002.
