Chris Mack and the new Louisville coaching staff are really hitting the graduate transfer market hard as it was announced that Mack and assistant Dino Gaudio are visiting with Wake Forest guard Keyshawn Woods on Monday.
Woods announced last month that he would either use the graduate transfer option and play his final season of eligibility elsewhere or head to the professional ranks and get a jump-start on his pro career. He reportedly visited Ohio State last week.
Woods originally played for Charlotte before transferring to Wake Forest where he averaged 11.9 points per game last season as a junior coming off of the bench. He earned votes for the ACC’s Sixth Man of the Year award.
Add Woods to the already lengthy list of graduate transfers that Chris Mack has been targeting. Last week, Louisville visited with Fordham’s Joseph Chartouny and is hosting FGCU’s Zach Johnson on Tuesday. They are also expected to host USC-Upstate guard Mike Cunningham next week.
