Western Kentucky vs. Louisville:The Louisville Cardinals got off to a good start to the season with their 35-21 win over in-state foe Western Kentucky on Saturday. Micale Cunningham and the offense looked to be in midseason form as they put up 487 yards of offense on the Hilltoppers. Cunningham passed for a career-high 343 yards and was responsible for 4 touchdowns on the day. The Cards' defense looked improved from last season and finished the game with 10 tackles for loss and with 3 sacks.
