With somewhere around 21 inches of snow still on the ground in Boston following Monday/Tuesday's winter storm, there were some serious and understandable doubts as to whether or not Louisville's Wednesday night game at Boston College would be played on schedule.
At least for the time being, it looks like the game is a go.

Had the game been canceled, the only time the two teams could have met again would have been in between Louisville's Feb. 23 and Feb. 28 road games at Georgia Tech and Florida State. Obviously, three road games that far apart in six days would not have been ideal.
The team is prepared to leave for Massachusetts Wednesday morning, barring any unforeseen setbacks. Tip-off is scheduled for 9 p.m.
