I’ll take it.
The Cardinals got a boost to their 2018 recruiting class Thursday evening as composite 4-star wide receiver Manuel Allen flips from Nebraska to Louisville.

Allen will come to Louisville all the way from the West Coast. Last year, the Corona, California, prospect hauled in 44 catches for 589 yards and four touchdowns. Along with Louisville and Nebraska, Allen holds offers from Southern Cal, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Oregon, UCLA, Utah, BYU, Cal, and Washington, among many others.
Allen’s commitment will be one to keep an eye on, as it is not a guarantee that he’ll suit up for the Cards. He was originally committed to play for the local school in the Southern California Trojans, but backed out of that pledge in February and decided to join the Cornhuskers class in April. Let’s hope he’s finally settled in on a decision, and a good one at that.
Welcome to the Cards, Manuel!
