The Notre Dame Fighting Irish earned their first win in a conference opener since 2017 with their 63-60 win over the Syracuse Orange. Braeden Shrewsberry had a great game with 22 points on 7-13 shooting, including 5-10 from 3-point range while Tae Davis and J.R. Konieczny chipped in 15 points apiece in the win. Donnie Freeman scored 20 points on 6-10 shooting to go along with 8 rebounds and Jyare Davis scored 20 points as well on 8-11 shooting in the loss.
