He’s bald and he’s not afraid to speak his mind...book it Phillips

While the Syracuse Orange haven’t taken the podium at the ACC Media Days, the noise produced by Clemson and Florida State is cranking to 11.
Before Jim Phillips could give his State of the ACC, 247 Sports published a story about the ACC Identity Crisis. In it was some comments about the ACC Network lacking their own central figure... their own Paul Finebaum.
“Obviously, the SEC has Paul Finebaum as their voice and people listen to experts and what they say,” Louisville head coach Jeff Brohm told 247Sports. “We’ve just got to make sure that we’re promoting our brand and our best players and our best teams and raise our level of play as much as we can — and have a good season.”
The frustration over the ACC Network is something we have in common with Dabo Swinney who reportedly complained “Why can’t we have a f-ing Finebaum Show?” Well the notion that the ACC doesn’t have someone who can make an impact nationally is just flat out wrong.
You want a bald white guy with glasses who isn’t afraid to tell people exactly what is on his mind? You want a f-ing Finebaum Show? We give you James Arthur Boeheim.
You need someone to go on ESPN and call a coach or administrator out, he’s got you.
You need someone who can appear on PTI and say that the CFP committee is clueless, he’ll have Wilbon and Kornheiser eating out of his hands.
You need someone to show up on The Finebaum Show and tell Paul that Ole Miss ain’t played nobody... then Jim Boeheim’s your man.
And you know that there will be a time in late November when someone on Fox will be bragging about an 8-win Big Ten or Big 12 team and Jim Phillips and the ACC will need an on-air person willing to call a media member an “Idiot”....
Buckle up Joel Klatt. Get that bong ready Urban. Keep your dog close Herbie...that whistling you hear means Boeheim’s coming.
