Point guard Joel Berry, small forwards Theo Pinson and Justin Jackson were all named to the 2014 McDonald's All-American team become the latest in a long line of future Tar Heels to receive the honor. The game will be played on April 2nd at the United Center in Chicago.
The full roster can be found here. Berry was named to the West team while Pinson and Jackson will play with the East squad. As noted by Inside Carolina, this is the eighth time in the Roy Williams era UNC has had two or more commits named to the all-star team. UNC target Rashad Vaughn was also named to the team and it still undecided with an official visit to Chapel Hill scheduled for February 15th.
While UNC's three players being named is impressive it is actually second to both Kentucky and Duke who had four players each named to the teams. UNC and Duke were the only ACC teams with representation in the McDonald's All-American game.
