The Demon Deacons swept the season series against the Cardinal with a 79-73 victory on the road. Cameron Hildreth was the key cog for the Deacs in a back-and-forth game. He got things started with 15 points in the game’s first 11 minutes and set the tone for the night. He’d finish with 22 points on 7-10 shooting in the win. Hunter Sallis picked up 19 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals, while Ty-Laur Johnson dropped 14 points--hitting 2 big threes in the process before fouling out late.
