Chris Mack beat out Kansas and a host of others to land the four-star prospect.
Four-star small forward Samuel Williamson (Rockwall, TX) became the second player in as many weeks to commit to Louisville when he made his college decision Monday night.

Williamson is the sixth best small forward in the 2019 class according to Rivals, and the No. 34 player in the class overall. He joins Jaelyn Withers and Josh Nickelberry as members of Chris Mack’s first Louisville recruiting class.
Like Withers a week ago, Williamson’s commitment comes on the heels of his official visit to U of L. Williamson, like fellow visitor Jahmius Ramsey, took part in the open runs that the team invited fans to watch Saturday afternoon at the Yum Center practice facility.
Williamson picked Louisville over Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Ohio State and many others. With his commitment, Chris Mack currently has the No. 4 recruiting class in the country for 2019.
Forget the recruiting restraints that people thought he would be inheriting at Louisville, Mack has landed three pledges from a class that has been historically hesitant to commit. That alone is cause to have goosebumps about the future.
Land a couple more (‘sup, Aidan Igiehon?) and we’ll be ready to roll.
