Virginia vs. Wake Forest: Virginia went on the road and got a much-needed victory as they defeated Wake Forest 65-63 in overtime. In the first half, Wake Forest at one point missed 14 consecutive shots but they took a lead into halftime thanks to ending the half on a 15-7 run. In the second half, Virginia's defense picked back up holding Wake Forest to just one 3-pointer and 22.2% shooting. Tomas Woldetensae hit seven 3-pointers on his way to a career-high 21 points to lead the Cavaliers. Virginia's Mamadi Diakite scored 16 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. For Wake Forest, who were without Brandon Childress, Andrien White was the leading scorer with 21 points.
