Saturday will be a big day in Chapel Hill for the North Carolina Tar Heels Basketball and Football programs.

By now you’ve probably heard of the events that will be going on during Saturday’s game between North Carolina and Louisville in Chapel Hill.

Michael Jordan was announced as a honorary captain, the Tar Heels national championship basketball team will be honored and UNC is hosting No. 17 Louisville.

It’s safe to say it’s a big day on the campus of Chapel Hill.

In addition to all of that the Tar Heels will be hosting recruits on campus, giving them a pretty cool experience.

Basketball Class of 2018

Already committed class of 2018 point guard Rechon “Leaky” Black announced via Twitter that he would be in attendance for Saturday’s game.

Black committed to UNC back in January of 2016, becoming the first player in UNC’s 2018 class to commit. He was later joined by guard Coby White who committed in July of 2016.

Black has made a few unofficial visits to UNC but hasn’t been there in months due to his high school and AAU schedule.

He won’t be the only 2018 player there.

Nassir Little, a top 20 player in the 2018 class, is also making a visit to Chapel Hill for the weekend.

Little will be on an official visit as he announced it back in August. He responded to Black’s tweet telling the fellow recruit that he will see him there.

Basketball Class of 2019

In addition to both Black and Little being there, 2019 power forward Armando Bacot will also be on campus for an official visit.

Like Little, Bacot also responded to a tweet stating that he will be there on Saturday:

Bacot received his offer from UNC back in early August as the Tar Heels put him on their radar for the important 2019 class.

The power forward is the No. 17th ranked player in the 2019 class according to 247 Sports but is trending towards Duke in the site’s crystal ball prediction. Bacot has already made two unofficial visits to UNC and will be on his third this weekend.

Four-star in-state forward Wendell Moore will also be in attendance on Saturday according to Justin Byerly.

Moore recently spoke on UNC and his recruiting process back in July with some interesting thoughts on the Tar Heels.

UNC commit Jeremiah Francis will also be in attendance on Saturday. The point guard out of Ohio committed to UNC back in August.

During the season opening loss to Cal, the Tar Heels hosted recruits Joey Baker and Josh Nickelberry who made visits to the school.

Football Class of 2018

Payton Wilson gave his verbal commitment to North Carolina back in May of 2017, becoming the latest in-state recruit to commit to the Tar Heels.

Wilson was in attendance on Saturday for the Tar Heels loss to Cal and he will be back on Saturday.

The four-star outside linebacker will be one of a few football recruits in attendance and will be there with some friends.

Joining Wilson is fellow linebacker in the 2018 class, Dax Hollifield.

The Shelby, North Carolina product is one of the best linebacker recruits in the country and if paired with Wilson gives UNC a good core on the front seven in the class.

Defensive tackle Rick Sandidge is also scheduled to be in attendance according to Don Callahan of Inside Carolina. The four-star recruit from Concord, North Carolina is ranked as 11th-best defensive tackle in the 2018 class.

With MJ in the house, the basketball team being honored and recruits on campus, all UNC needs is a win to make it a real special day.

It won’t be easy though as defending Heisman trophy winner Lamar Jackson will look to lead Louisville to another win.
