The North Carolina Tar Heels are headed to the Final Four and certainly would not be able to say that if not for the efforts of their dominant presence in the middle, Armando Bacot. The 6'10" Center / Forward has been a big-time producer for the Tar Heels ever since he stepped foot in Chapel Hill, but until now,the team had not seen the success that is the norm for UNC during Bacot's career. When speaking to the media today, first-year head coach Hubert Davis talked about how happy it makes him to see Bacot get recognition and, more importantly, enjoy the team's recent success.
