Virginia Tech picked up a 38-21 home victory over Pitt in a strong offensive performance by the Hokies. VT QB Kyron Drones had a terrific game, scoring 5 total touchdowns. He completed 12 of 19 passes for 228 yards and 3 scores, and then added 41 yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground. RB Bhayshul Tuten had a 109 yard game on 24 carries. Pitt QB Phil Jurkovec went 11-22 for 235 yards and 2 touchdowns in the loss.
