Divisions are a thing of the past in the ACC. The conference decided in 2022 to do away with the Atlantic and Coastal divisions and instead give each team three permanent rivals. Beginning this season, Virginia Tech will face off against their in-state rival Virginia Cavaliers, their neighbors down the road in Winston Salem, Wake Forest, and the Pitt Panthers.
