Virginia Tech will be looking to get back to playing Hokie football this fall after coming off their first losing season since 1992. The Lunch Pail defense will look to regain its swagger and will bring back a number of key players including senior defensive back Reggie Floyd, junior linebacker Rayshard Ashby and linebacker Dax Hollifield. On offense, quarterback Ryan Willis will be throwing to a very talented group of pass-catchers which is highlighted by junior wide receiver Damon Hazelton Jr., sophomore wide receiver Tre Turner, and junior tight end Dalton Keene. With 2018 leading rusher Steven Peoples gone, the Hokies will have several players vying to be the starter in 2019. ACC Digital Network spoke with Head Coach Justin Fuente, Reggie Floyd, and Dalton Keene on their thoughts on what to expect from Virginia Tech in 2019.
