Wake Forest took down Florida 82-71 thanks in part to a fantastic close to its first ACC/SEC Challenge game. The Deacs clamped down in the last four minutes of the game, allowing no field goals in that stretch. Hunter Sallis led the scoring for Wake, scoring 24 points on 8-15 shooting to go with 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals. Andrew Carr followed up with 22 points on 8-13 shooting, 6 boards, 3 blocks, and 2 steals.
