Check out the latest offers for the Deacs
It’s been a while since we took a look at the offers that Clawson and Co. have been handing out, partly due to the fact that the number of offers has reduced significantly as the season approaches. That being said, there are still a few recent offers that I can update you on, so lets jump right into that. Here’s the quick rundown:
Very blessed and excited to have received an offer from Wake Forest University! #GoDeacs @CoachBSherrod @CoachTabacca @CoachClawson pic.twitter.com/7iEMRG0qLJ
— Jacob Monk (@monk_52) July 15, 2017
Jacob Monk is a 6-4, 285 lb. offensive guard playing at Corinth Holders in Wendell, NC. He is a member of the 2019 recruiting class and has not yet been rated. He has competing offers from Duke, ECU, NC State, South Carolina, UVA, and West Virginia. 247’s Crystal Ball has 1 prediction that has him going to ECU. Offensive line is always crucial, so a commit here would be great.
Honored to receive an offer from Wake Forest University ?? #GoDeacs pic.twitter.com/5AvTjvmFJl

Jordan Waters is a 6-1, 190 lb. wide receiver currently playing at Fairmont High School in Fairmont, NC. He is also a member of the 2019 recruiting class and does not yet have a rating. His only other offer so far is from Duke, so the Deacs should have a solid chance of landing him. His Hudl highlights boast a 4.0 GPA, so he would definitely be a good fit for Wake Forest.

Deandre Jules is a 6-3, 225 lb. tight end out of Northwest High School in Germantown, MD. Like the previous 2 offers, he is also a member of the 2019 class and has no rating. He holds competing offers from Maryland, UNC, Marshall, Purdue, ECU and Pitt. 247’s Crystal Ball has 1 prediction for Jules to commit to his home state Maryland Terrapins.

— Winston Wright Jr. (@champwright4) July 17, 2017
Winston Wright Jr. is a 5-9, 155 lb. athlete playing at Memorial Day School in Savannah, GA. He is a member of the 2019 class and is rated as a 3-star prospect by 247sports. He has competing offers from Coastal Carolina, FAU, Georgia State, Mercer, Troy, UCF, Western Carolina, and Western Kentucky. According to his Hudl page, he runs a 4.45 40 yard dash, which would be some great speed to add to the team (for comparison, Christian McCaffrey ran a 4.48 at the NFL combine).
Proud to say I have received a full scholarship to punt at Wake Forest University! @WayneLineburg pic.twitter.com/1bc8QOCxIh
— Paxton Brooks (@paxbrooks) July 18, 2017
Paxton Brooks is a 6-5, 170 lb. punter at Airport High School in West Columbia, SC. He is a member of the 2018 class and is rated as a 5-star prospect by Kohls Kicking. He was also selected to be an Under Armour All-American this summer. From what I have been able to find online, it looks like his only other offer is from Army, so the Deacs should be in good standing to land him. Brooks could definitely have a bright future as the next standout player at PunterU.
Blessed to have received my 10th offer from Wake Forest University #GoDeacs pic.twitter.com/dciIRBVODI
— Kingston Harris (@KingstonH71) July 20, 2017
Kingston Harris is a 6-4, 270 lb. defensive tackle playing at IMG Academy in Orlando, FL. He is a member of the 2018 recruiting class and is rated as a 3-star prospect by Scout. He has competing offers from USF, Pitt, Maryland, Tennessee, UCF, Rutgers, Michigan State, Eastern Kentucky, and UTSA. 247’s Crystal Ball has 1 prediction with Harris committing to Maryland. A guy of his size is always a welcome addition to any football team, so a commit from Harris would be great get.
