Heading into Week 3, there might be a few more questions and answers early on but with some interesting matchups coming ahead, All Things ACC has three questions they want answered.
- Louisville The Real Deal?
Louisville welcomes in Florida State and some may believe the way these two teams are playing, they could be playing for the Atlantic Division, as Clemson has not looked impressive early on. The Cards, led by quarterback Lamar Jackson, have been impressive averaging over 60 points per game and showing that they could be a team looking for a breakout year. This game won’t determine everything for the Cardinals, but it would be a huge statement, not only for the possible Heisman race but for the college playoffs. Florida State comes in with a solid defense, one Louisville hasn’t seen yet and with a freshman quarterback that is poised enough to make a statement of his own. - Who Stays Undefeated Early On?
Miami is in the Top 25 but hit the road against an Appalachian State team that took Tennessee to the wire. Georgia Tech has already won a conference game against Boston College and now takes on a Vanderbilt at home, a game that should answer a few questions for the Jackets. Pittsburgh as a tough one on the road against Oklahoma State, a team that is coming off a loss against Central Michigan in which the refs missed a call and allowed a last second play that CMU eventually scored on. Wake Forest is off to a 2-0 start and faces a Delaware team that they should be favored against.
Which team will come away with a 3-0 record early on this season? - Can Boston College Get A Road Win?
This is one of the quiet questions that we have. Boston College defeated UMass and barely loss to Georgia Tech to start the season. This Eagles defense looks to be one of the top units again this year and will be going up against a Virginia Tech offense that struggled at times against Tennessee. Will the Hokies be able to bounce back on their home turf? The last time the Eagles came to Blacksburg in 2014, they came away with a 33-31 victory. The offense will have to be clicking but the defense should be able to keep them in the game for a chance to win their first conference game.
