Louisville's loss to Notre Dame cost the Cardinals five spots in the latest Associated Press Top 25, which dropped U of L from No. 9 to No. 14.
Undefeated Baylor, which received 55 of the possible 65 first-place votes from the Associated Press, becomes the fourth different team to be ranked No. 1 this season, joining Duke, Kentucky and 'Nova.
Kansas, which received eight first-place voted, jumped a spot from No. 3 to No. 2. The other two first-place votes went to Villanova and UCLA, which check in at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively. Rounding out the top five is the only team in the country besides Baylor yet to taste defeat this season, 15-0 Gonzaga.
