The Florida State football team arrived in Louisville on Tuesday, a full day earlier than most teams show up for a Thursday night game inside Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.
The travel plans left the Noles, who are staying downtown at the Galt House, needing a spot to practice on Wednesday. They elected to head to The Great Lawn at Louisville Waterfront Park. Predictably, word spread and members of the media showed up to document the event.
