A lot of North Carolina sites... though fewer than there usually are.
The Atlantic Coast Conference announced the locations of the 2018-19 ACC Championships and as expected most of them will be contested in the Carolinas. Football and Men’s Basketball will both be held in Charlotte next season while Women’s Basketball will be in Greensboro. The defending ACC Champion Syracuse Men’s Cross-Country team will get to look for their 6th straight title at Boston’s Franklin Park in October.

Syracuse Orange fans will have to hope that Men’s Lacrosse can continue their conference success because that’s one of two options for the Orange to host a championship. The first two rounds of Men’s Lacrosse will be held in Chapel Hill but the title game will be hosted by the highest remaining seed the following weekend. The Volleyball championship site will be determined by the regular season
Until there are more facilities changes or sport additions in Syracuse, it’s unlikely that the Orange will be considered to host many ACC Championships. The Dome could certainly host either lacrosse championship and if Syracuse added sports like wrestling, gymnastics, or fencing the venue would be an appealing option.
If you had the option of attending any ACC Championship other than basketball, which would you pick?
