NC State got on the board this weekend with an in-state cornerback from North Carolina.
Jacobe Clement is a 6-foot-1, 190-pound cornerback from South Mecklenburg and is the most recent prospect to commit to Dave Doeren and NC State.
He had received an offer from NC State a while back and in April, said that NC State, Wake Forest, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Clemson as his top five schools.
On Sunday, he ended that and announced that NC State would be the place for him.
Clement had 12 total offers and is the fifth commitment for the Wolfpack for 2017 but the first since April. He is also the first cornerback in the class to commit as well.
