An interesting week in The Ville begins with a win.

Louisville snapped a three-game losing streak Sunday afternoon inside the KFC Yum Center with an 85-63 win over visiting Pepperdine.
The 22-point margin of victory marked the largest of the Kenny Payne era to date.
Brandon Huntley-Hatfield played perhaps the most inspired game of his Cardinal career to date, dominating the Waves inside to the tune of 20 points and 12 rebounds. Both of those figured were team-highs.
Mike James was stellar as well, pouring in 19 points and also snagging six boards. Curtis Williams came off the bench to hit 4-of-5 three-pointers. He finished with 16 points. Tre White also scored inn double figures with 10.

Pepperdine, which slipped to 5-8 on the season, has now lost 30 consecutive road games.
