Louisville's Hercy Miller is in the transfer portal

Say it isn’t so.

Louisville walk-on guard Hercy Miller is in the transfer portal, according to On3’s Jamie Shaw.

Miller, the son of legendary rapper Master P, appeared in 10 games for U of L last season, making three starts. He totaled 11 points, three assists and one rebound before a hip injury cut his season short in early February.

With Miller gone, the lone Cardinal player making the transition from the Kenny Payne era to the Pat Kelsey era is walk-on Aidan McCool, who announced last week that he’s sticking with the program for his final season of college hoops.

Hercy was one of the few guys, maybe the only guy, over the last couple of years who gave optimal effort every second he was on the floor. For that, he’ll have my eternal respect.
