The Tar Heels land in the final schools list for a key 2019 recruit on Wednesday night.
Roy Williams has started to make his move in the 2018 and 2019 recruiting classes by handing out offers to top players.
One of those 2018 recruits that holds an offer is Nassir Little.
The small forward is ranked as a top 25 player in the 2018 class and the No. 6 player at his position in his class.
On Wednesday night, UNC received some good news in his recruiting process. Little narrowed down his choices to five schools and listed the Tar Heels among those programs.

With a player of his caliber, the competition to land him will be tough. UNC will have to battle their rivals just 8 miles down the road in Duke as well as another premiere program in Arizona.
The other two are fellow ACC schools Miami and Georgia Tech. The Hurricanes are on the rise and landed one of the best players in the 2017 class in Lonnie Walker.
Georgia Techs surprised a lot of people with their season last year and are looking to land their first 2018 recruit.
The Tar Heels already have two players in the 2018 class signed in guards Rechon “Leaky” Black and Coby White. They are both top 100 recruits with White climbing the rankings very fast.
Landing a player like Little and keeping him away from the Duke or ACC teams would be big for the Tar Heels.
Little picked up an offer from UNC on July 31 and assistant Steve Robinson has led the recruiting for the recruit.
The small forward played well in both the Spring and Summer AAU circuit with Roy Williams watching him closely. His play was good enough to earn a scholarship offer and now he’s seriously considering the Heels.
