Louisville basketball’s annual Red-White Scrimmage looked a bit different this year. In front of a crowd of nearly 8,000 at the KFC Yum Center, the Cards held a 45-minute practice session before holding a 20-minute scrimmage.
Thanks primarily to the play of Steven Enoch, the Red Team prevailed with a 42-32 victory in that scrimmage. The senior center dominated down low, scoring a scrimmage-high 21 points on 8-of-10 shooting. Enoch was also 2-for-2 from beyond the arc.
The game’s other two leading scorers were U of L’s other largest proven commodities. Dwayne Sutton added to Enoch’s total with 16 points of his own — more than half of that coming from the free-throw line. Jordan Nwora led the White Team with 16 points.

Chris Mack talked about a number of things after the scrimmage, including the need for graduate transfer point guard Fresh Kimble to be better.
